Brandon Marshall WR Denver Broncos
Brandon Marshall was arrested this weekend for disorderly conduct, his fourth arrest in three years which puts him at a chance to get suspended at the beginning of the season, similar to last.
Police walked up on him and his fiance throwing punches at each other on the sidewalk, and since either refused to testify against each other, the charges were of course dropped. Since he was arrested, which hurts the image of the Denver Broncos and the NFL he still can be suspended by the league due to multiple offenses.
Lendale White RB Tennessee Titans
Ryan Mallett QB Arkansas
Arkansas QB Ryan Mallett was arrested for public intoxication at 3:47 AM Sunday morning in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The 20 year old is the expected starter for Arkansas after he sat out this season because of transferring to Arkansas from Michigan.
Mallett was arrested by of a night spot, and spent about an hour in jail before being released on $155 bond.
J.B. Shugarts, Mike Adams OL Ohio State
18 year old Mike Adams, and 19 year old J.B. Shugarts are headed down the Alex Boone road as they both were cited for misdemeanor possessing drug paraphernalia on January 14th, and recently plead not guilty to the charges.
They were pulled over near campus for running a stop sign when the officer found whatever it was they were using to smoke marijuana. They weren't arrested. Shugarts is supposed to compete for a starting spot on the right side of the line, while Adams was expected to take over as starter at LT. Both were injured last season, but saw time.
The max punishment is 30 days in prison, and $250.
Editors Note: Mike Adams charge has since been dropped, he took a drug test, passed, and the pipe was tested and it was used as a tobacco pip.
Shaun Prater CB Iowa
Freshman defensive back Shaun Prater was arrested 1:22 AM Saturday for DUI. The Iowa defensive back was thought to be in competition to start at one of the cornerback positions after starter Bradley Fletcher graduated.
After getting pulled over, the 19 year old Prater smelled of alcohol, slurred his speech, and had bloodshot eyes. After failing sobriety tests he blew a .134.
According to Prater, he wasn't at fault for his underage drunk driving. Prater told the arresting officer that the bartender put alcohol in his coca-cola, apparently in 12 or so sodas that he had that night.
Prater has since been suspended, for what the coach said; "a couple of games"
Reggie Williams WR Jacksonville Jaguars
Reginald Williams Jr., the Jacksonville Jaguars WR was arrested at 1:59AM today on charges of DUI and Marijuana possession. Williams failed 3 sobriety tests, but refused to give a breathalyzer, but the officer ain't taking that, so he got a warrant and got a blood test. He was originally pulled over for failing to signal, and because he couldn't maintain a single lane of traffic.
The Jaguars top 10 pick in 2004 was also arrested for marijuana possession in 2006 when an officer found 2 joints and a small baggie of weed. Along with misdemeanor marijuana possession, he was charged with unknowingly driving on a suspended license, turning left from a center lane, and running a red light.
Quincy Carter QB Ex-Dallas Cowboys
Quincy Carter, the ex-Dallas Cowboy, ex-Montreal Allouette, ex-Kansas City Brigade, ex-New York Jet, ex-Miami Dolphin tryout, and shit, ex-Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wing, ex-Rio Grande Valley Dorados QB fuck up was arrested for DUI and Marijuana Possession. He was stopped for failure to signal, and upon talking to Carter, the officer noticed he was slurring his words and his eyes were bloodshot. So much for "Growing Up" He blew a .14, with the legal limit being .08, and was found to have less than 2 ounces of marijuana.
He has since been released from the AFL2s Rio Grande Valley Dorados for eligibility issues, which is rock bottom for a guy who was starting for the Dallas Cowboys and taking them to the playoffs a few years back.
Marshall Lobbestael QB Washington State
Washington State QB Marshal Lobbestael was arrested on Sunday morning for minor exhibiting signs of alcohol consumption. The redshirt-Freshman is only 19 years old.
The signs? Well I'm assuming it was pretty clear when the police found him -- not that it was that hard. He was passed out in his truck. Which was parked at... you guessed it, the police station. If that wasn't bad enough, he had a bag full of vomit between his legs. Earlier in the evening he was allegedly seen carrying an unconscious female on campus, who was also charged with 'Minor in Possession'.
That is some pretty clear signs that he was pretty fucked up.
He was considered a front runner for the WSU job, but is out for spring practice due to a knee injury that he got last year after throwing 4 touchdowns in 5 appearances. Obviously, he has been rehabbing very hard, but now he is suspended by WSU. The official charge is 'Minor in Possession'.

Josh Brent, Junior DL for Illinois, was arrested for felony DUI at approximately 1:30AM last weekend. It is a felony due to him getting the DUI while operating on a suspended license. The original suspension was not alcohol related. After getting pulled over for speeding, he failed numerous tests and then he blew a .11, the legal limit being .08. He has since been suspended indefinitely.
In other news, now Ex-Florida State WR Preston Parker is in jail due to his latest run in with the law.

Ian McGarvey K Ball State
Ian McGarvey, Ball State's Kicker, was arrested on suspicion of DUI, and minor consumption at around 2:15 AM last Saturday. McGarvey is only 19 years old.
He was pulled over because his car matched the description of a car driving suspiciously, the car in question (which had a license plate number reported too) was apparently driving slowly and stopping in front of houses. When the officer came to the window and said this, he did not look at the officer and stated that he was driving normally.
He passed the one leg test, and the walk and turn test, but failed the eye pen test. Then Ian McGarvey pushed the breathalyzer wide right with a .087, not outrageously high, but above the legal limit, and especially above considering he is not 21. Which got me to thinking, why even waste his time with those tests? He passed 2/3, a 66% I believe, which I think is a D, which certainly isn't passing. If he passes those tests, maybe he shouldn't have to take a breathalyzer.
McGarvey was released on $3,500 bail at approximately 6:00 AM.

Gerald Sensabaugh S Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars Safety Gerald Sensabaugh has been arrested for the third time in three years. His first arrest came his when he was busted for speeding and carrying a weapon without a permit, his second came after he was doing wheelies on his motorcycle. This time he was pinched for driving on a suspended license. Even crazier is what he wasn't arrested for. In his car was 3 guns, a .22 glock, a bersa .380, and an AK-47. But you don't get in trouble for those when you have permits and you don't shoot yourself in the thigh.

Marshawn Lynch RB Buffalo Bills
Turns out the cops did have a reason to search the car after stopping to talk to Marshawn Lynch and the other occupants of the vehicle. As soon as they rolled the window down a strong smell of marijuana came out of the car, prompting the search that turned up the guns... and 4 marijuana filled cigars. No Marijuana possession was given out because they could not determine who owned the blunts, or who was smoking them.

Carl Johnson OL Florida
National Champion Offensive Lineman Carl Johnson was arrested earlier this week for violating a sexual violence restraining. The redshirt junior allegedly followed her off a bus, after apparent chances to get off, he waited until her stop to get off. Johnson started most of the season when the starting Guard was lost due to shoulder problems.
Jeff Reed K Pittsburgh Steelers
Super Bowl Champion Jeff Reed, the Kicker for the Pittsburgh Steelers is so used to seeing Terrible Towels all around his stadium that when he goes somewhere there isn't any regular towels, it just infuriates him. Jeff Reed was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief after he threw a tantrum in a gas station bathroom when the towel dispenser was empty. He ended up breaking the dispenser and then leaving yelling profanity at an employee.
What still shocks me about all of this is that Jeff Reed actually washes his hands after using the bathroom, something tells me half the employees their don't.

Marshwn Lynch RB Buffalo Bills
Pro Bowl RB Marshawn Lynch was arrested this past weekend for possession of a concealed firearm when he and some friends were stopped in LA while sitting in a car. Which of course, its illegal to sit in your Mercedes Benz, and of course that requires a field investigation.
The investigation turned up a loaded pistol, which was not on him. After figuring out that the pistol infact belonged to Marshawn Lynch he was arrested. He was later released on $35,000 bond.
The picture above was from a trial from 2008, where he was arrested for hit and run. He claimed he saw a girl dancing in the street and slowed for her and kept on his way, but instead he hit a girl bruising her and requiring 7 stitches. Of course, all that was done for punishment was a license suspension...
Which was overturned.

Damian Marshall RB Brennan Houston OL Southern Mississippi
Damion Fletcher is the current national leader in rushing yards in NCAA after rushing for 1388, 1586, and 1313 yards his first three seasons, with a total of 36 touchdowns over those 3 years.
Brennan Houston is a R-Junior who attended Cerritos College prior to coming to Southern Mississippi, he was on the commissioner of Conference USA's honor roll.
Fletcher was charged with charges of discharging a firearm, and Houston added a charge of marijuana possession. Not many details are out yet, but school officials believe that the gun was fired into the air, and there was no injuries to report from the incident.
JoPierre Davis CB Hawaii
JoPierre Davis, a Senior CB for Hawaii out of San Francisco has seen limited time at Corner, and a good amount of time on special teams as a gunner for the Warriors. He now has been formally charged with counts of second-degree sexual assault and first-degree burglary.
What allegedly happened is he went uninvited to a dorm party where he grabbed a girls ass and then refused to leave when he was asked to. The women "went to bed" which of course means she passed out, and she woke up to Davis touching her and 'sexually assaulting her with his fingers' She asked him to stop several times and he just swore at her, zipped up his pants and headed out. On his was out, of course, he didn't forget to grab her camera or her keys. She was too embarrassed to go to the police, and didn't want the arrest to affect her grades at Hawaii.
Later that week when she saw him laughing and got pissed off and poured her coffee on him.
On January 18th, she was at a club when she felt someone grab her ass again, when she turned and saw JoPierre again, wack, she slapped him across the face, and then bam right in the kisser he knocked her out. He also punched a security official on his way out of the club.
I guess that put the whole situation over the edge because she finally went to the police and after searching his room they found a baggie of alleged marijuana and he was taken in on third-degree promotion of a detrimental drug.
Pretty serious shit going on there, I'd say he is pretty much fucked.

Roderick Green LB San Francisco 49er's
Roderick Green, LB for the San Francisco 49er's was arrested in his hometown of Brenham, Texas on 4 misdemeanor charges. After being pulled over for speeding, but he refused to roll down his slightly open window, and in the end he was charged with reckless driving, unlawful carrying of a weapon, possession of marijuana, and interfering with the duties of a police officer. That's a lot for a guy that could have gotten away with just a speeding ticket.
This is the same guy that got stabbed in the stomach outside of a Bowling Alley while with the Ravens in 2006. Since he isn't dead, I don't feel so bad posting the video of him running away from his assailant after he was stabbed.
Willie Jefferson WR Baylor
Willie Jefferson is one of the prized recruits for Baylor for 2009, the 6 foot 7 inch WR from Ozen High was considered one of the most athletic recruits for the team. The recruit was arrested for misdemeanor marijuana possession 10 days before signing his letter of intent at Baylor. Him and 3 other people, one male and 2 females, (one was a male, and the other two, well the other two were females) were pulled over for running a stop sign. The officer noticed a green substance on his pants, which he believed to be marijuana. He denied there being marijuana in the car, stating it had been there prior, but after a search it turned up a small bag, some cigars, and a marijuana cigarette.... reefers.
Can't say Tim Meadows didn't try to warn him...
Bo Bowling WR Oklahoma State
Bo Bowling, is a SR wide receiver, and former walk on on Oklahoma State. His brother, Brian, also plays for the Cowboys. He was arrested on Sunday for numerous charges, including, Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance (anti depressant Xanax), and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on $2,500 bond, and has been suspended from the Oklahoma State football team. He finished last season with 10 receptions for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns. I bet he could really use some of those Xanax's right about now...
Freddie Mitchell WR Ex-Philadelphia Eagles
Freddie Mitchell, the colossal 2001 1st round bust by the Philadelphia Eagles got busted when he received his FredEx shipment, of 7 pounds of marijuana. He was handcuffed, not arrested, and is under investigation at this time. The package was meant to be shipped to Freddie's brothers B-B-Q restaurant, but it went to Freddie's mothers house first. Freddie claims it is all a misunderstanding, and that his mother takes memory pills and couldn't remember who the package was too. He also claims police jumped the gun because of his celebrity status, minus, you know, the celebrity part. This just adds on to the failure he has been post-NFL career. No NFL teams gave him a new contract, though he got some feels, and even tried out the AFL, but nothing tops his stop as a substitute teacher, where he got fired for allegedly asking girls for phone numbers.
Jock Sanders WR WVU
Jock Sanders, Sophomore WR from West Virginia University, was arrested for DUI on in Morgantown. He was speeding through campus and crossing over the yellow lines, and when the cop pulls him over and asks him if he's been drinking he says, "A Little." Now why in the hell would he say that if he wasn't even 21? He went on to fail 3 of 4 sobriety tests and was arrested after blowing a .125. Which is over double what that pussy from Florida State had when he passed out.
This is Sander's second arrest in the past year, he was arrested along with Noel Devine, RB, Eain Smith, DB, and Brantwon Bowser, CB, for misdemeanor battery charges from an altercation outside a club. Glad to see he is following in the footsteps of other WVU greats Adam 'Pacman' Jones, and Chris Henry.
Jamal Anderson RB Ex-Atlanta Falcons
The Dirty Bird is getting locked up on felony cocaine possession and a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge. A police officer walked into the restroom of a night club after being warned of possible drug use in the bathroom and he heard sniffing sounds coming from a stall. He looked over the stall door Jamal and another club patron were snorting 2 lines off of the back of the toilet. Luckily, Anderson wasn't using the toilet for normal reason, otherwise that would have been a pretty awkward conversation. Anderson also had a 'marijuana cigarette' in his pocket.
When he isn't doing coke on toilets, or being an analyst on First Take, you can usually find him passed out in bars...

Michael Merritt TE Kansas City Chiefs
Michael Merritt is a Rookie TE for the Kansas City Chiefs. He was selected in the 7th round, pick 239 overall out of Central Florida. He was arrested Thursday morning for misdemeanor marijuana possession in Orlando, Florida.
An Officer saw him rolling a "Marijuana Cigarette" in his car, as soon as Merritt noticed the officer he shoved the joint in his mouth. The cop ordered him out of his car and ordered him to "Spit it out", to which Merritt replied spontaneously, "All this for a little bit of weed?"
Yeah, for that 'little bit of weed' (three grams) there was a fine of $250, and since he didn't play much at all, it means he could have lost his job as well. Should have blamed it on Michael Phelps...
Terry Glenn WR Ex-Dallas Cowboys
Terry Glenn -- With Clothes
Terry Glenn was cut just prior to training camp last year by the Dallas Cowboys and was out of football in 2008, his knees were the main problem then for his NFL comeback, but now he has another problem to deal with. Terry was arrested last week for public intoxication and marijuana possession in a hotel in Texas. The police were called because SOME people seemed to have a problem with him roaming the halls naked. Which I gotta say, is better than what Detroit Lions assistant coach Joe Cullen was arrested for. There was also traffic warrants out for Glenn from Roanoke. The only problem -- Why was Terry THAT drunk at 10:30 PM?
Terry Glenn has had 3 other serious run ins with the law during his football career. Glenn was charged for assault and battery, and intimidation of a witness in 2001, he was also arrested for a different public intoxication when he was arrested urinating behind a fast foot establishment by a dumpster, which I always thought was where the bathroom really was.
He was Dallas' best recever in 2005 and 2006, amassing 32 receptions for 2,200 yards and 13 touchdowns. Knee injuries hampered his next season, and led to his release.

Kyle Van Noy LB BYU
Kyle Van Noy is almost a LB for BYU. Almost because the dumbass got himself a DUI prior to actually getting into the college. He was one of BYU's best recruits of 2009 (4*), but has put enrolling aside until the legal problems from his DUI are behind him.
BYU gave him the option of giving up his commitment and going to another school, you know, one of those that don't care about little things like DUI's, but he said he still wants to play for BYU.
Van Noy was supposed to compete for a spot at linebacker his freshman season.
Jamal Williams DL San Diego Chargers
Jamal Williams, the 4 time pro-bowl NT for the San Diego Chargers was arrested on suspicion of DUI at about 1:30 AM Monday morning. He was pulled over for speeding in his 2008 Bentley when the arrest took place. My guess is if you can afford a $330,000 car, you can afford a good lawyer to brush this one under the rug.
Jamal Williams gave a blood test and the results are not back yet. The arrest happened less than a month after teammate Vincent Jackson WR was arrested for DUI, he vows to prove his innocence.
More to come when blood tests come back.
Alex Boone OT Ohio State
Alex Boone from THEE Ohio State University was arrested late sunday night for public intoxication after a drunken tirade that ended up with him getting tasered twice after the police found him under a patio. The drunk offensive lineman was found jumping on car hoods, yanking on a tow truck cable, and trying to break a window when he was arrested. Of course, he didn't want to get arrested so he fucking booked it. Something tells me that he was running faster than than he will be in his 40 in Indy soon. The cops found him under a patio and tasered him twice to subdue him.
Boone was also arrested in 2006 for DUI, he blew double the legal limit and was involved in an accident. He said he would put his drinking issues behind him. I would call this a little more than a slip up.
Of course, he is probably doing better than he was in the past. He was rumored to drink 30-40 beers a day. Fucking lightweight.
Preston Parkers WR Florida State
Leon County Jail
Preston Parker, a Junior WR on Florida State, was arrested for DUI early Saturday morning, and was dismissed from the team Monday. Parker was found passed out in his Dodge Charger in the drive through of a McDonald's at 4:42AM. According to a witness, he was passed out in his car for 20 minutes before police showed up. The Officer found Parker in his car, car running, in drive, and after banging on the window Parker woke up left off the break and started rolling forward, causing the officer to get really pissed off.
The whole thing about this is, Preston Parker is a fuckin' lightweight. When he got to the jail, he blew only a .054. The legal limit is .08, and this guy was passed the fuck out at .054. This guy needs to grow a pair and learn how to hold his liquor.
Hopefully he didn't forget to pick up an application.
